Studio 1 @ Dorchester, 2010 - 2012

Studio Text 1: During a residency at Dorchester Project I produced an structure powered by an off-grid solar system to examine energy consumption connected to my studio practice.   The architectural installation was located in southeast Chicago and supported by Theaster Gates and the Rebuild Foundation. After months of using the studio as a part of my residency at Dorchester Project I invited other interdisciplinary artist to use the studio to produce new work or develop work to test the capacity of the back up solar powered system.  Working in theis way was really productive and I shared the space with two other artists, Stephen Flemster and Durriel Harris
